Terms of Service

Effective October 28, 2026. Version 2. · Lire en français

1. Who we are

Klaboo is operated by Wahvo Inc. (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and us for using Klaboo, including the Klaboo app and the klaboo.com website. By creating an account, using the Free plan, or paying for a membership, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Klaboo.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. To use Klaboo you need a verified email address. You sign in through Auth0, our sign-in provider, with Google or with an email address and password. Each email address signs in one way: the way it first joined Klaboo. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Do not share your account with other people. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us at support at klaboo.com straight away.

We may close sign-up, or limit who can join or use a plan, at any time.

3. Plans

Klaboo has three plans:

What each plan includes is shown on the Pricing page and in the app’s Plans screen, including the limits that apply. No plan includes the cost of making videos: every plan uses your own provider key (section 6). We may change what a plan includes, its limits, and which features are marked Beta, as these terms allow.

Storage. Each plan includes storage for everything in your account, across all your workspaces: 5 GB on Free, 50 GB on Basic and 250 GB on Advanced (the Pricing page shows the current amounts). Videos and files you delete keep counting until they are erased (section 12). When your storage is full, new uploads, exports and videos wait until you make room or change plan. A video you already approved is still saved, even if it takes you over. We never delete your work to make room.

4. Membership, payment and renewal

Prices. Prices are in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. The price shown at checkout, before you confirm, is the price you pay. If Stripe shows the price in your local currency, the amount shown at checkout is the amount you pay. Otherwise your bank or card issuer may convert the amount to your own currency and may charge fees for doing so.

Launch offer. If you join a monthly plan (Basic or Advanced) while the launch offer is available, you get US$3 off each of your first three monthly payments, and then you pay the regular price unless you cancel. The offer can be used once for each account, and it is not available on yearly plans. We can end the offer for new members at any time. If you already have the offer, you keep it for its three months, including if you switch to the other monthly plan (you then get US$3 off that plan’s price until the same date). Switching to a yearly plan ends the offer.

Payment and tax. Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe is the merchant of record for your purchase. It sells the membership to you, calculates, collects and sends in sales tax, VAT or GST, deals with payment disputes, and may refund a payment under its own policies. Stripe’s own terms for buyers apply to the purchase. We provide the Klaboo service itself.

Automatic renewal. Basic and Advanced renew automatically at the end of each billing period (each month, or each year for Advanced yearly) until you cancel. We charge the payment method you gave at the price then in force for your plan, plus tax. For yearly plans, Stripe sends you a reminder before each renewal.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Account, then Membership and billing. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Until then you keep full access, and you are not charged again.

No refunds. Fees are not refundable. We do not refund any part of a period you have paid for, including if you cancel early, delete your account or stop using Klaboo, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, write to us at support at klaboo.com, or use the receipt Stripe sent you, and we will look at it.

Changing plans. A Basic member can upgrade to Advanced inside Klaboo. The app shows the amount before you confirm. For a same-period upgrade, you are charged at once for the rest of the current billing period, with the unused part of Basic credited. If a monthly Basic member upgrades to Advanced yearly, a new yearly period starts that day, the unused part of Basic is credited, and the whole year is charged at once. Moving from Advanced to Basic is done on the billing page, from Account, then Membership and billing. It takes effect at once. The unused part of what you paid for Advanced is kept as a credit on your account and used for your next Basic payments. It is not paid back in cash.

If a payment fails. If a payment fails, your account becomes read-only while the payment is tried again. You can view, download and delete your work, and you can update your payment method at any time to get full access back. Stripe tries the payment again for up to two weeks. If it still cannot be collected, your membership ends and section 13 applies.

Price changes. We may change our prices. A new price applies to a member from the first renewal that begins at least 30 days after we tell you, by email or in the app. If you do not want the new price, cancel before it applies. A new price for people who have not joined yet applies when we publish it.

5. The Free plan

If you sign in with a verified email address and have no membership, you may use Klaboo on the Free plan once you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. Free is the Create page: you make videos with your own video provider key, one at a time, up to 10 videos started in a day. A day is a UTC day, which starts at midnight UTC. The app shows when your day ends in your own time.

Free does not keep your videos for long. We erase each video 24 hours after it was made. You can watch and download it until then, so download the ones you want to keep. You can also delete a video yourself, and it is then erased at once, with no copy to restore. The reference files you add on Create are removed once the video they were for is done, whether it finished or failed, and files you upload and never use are removed after 24 hours. The record of each request (the prompt you wrote, its settings, its estimated price, the time and the result) stays in your account’s history. See the Privacy Policy.

Free does not include the Library, Generations, the Editor, Scene builder, Project knowledge or AI scene planning, and you can have only one workspace. You pay your video provider for each video yourself, through your own key.

Free is for accounts that have never held a membership, and for an account whose only access was complimentary access that has ended (section 13). If you join a paid plan, your videos from then on are kept as that plan describes. A Free video that was already erased cannot be brought back. If your account moved to Free when complimentary access ended, the 24-hour rule above applies only to what you make on Free after that: what you made while you had complimentary access is not erased by it. We may change what Free includes, change its limits, or end it, with reasonable notice where we can.

6. Your own provider accounts and keys

To make videos you connect your own account with a supported video provider by saving its key in Klaboo. The providers we support today are fal.ai, Replicate, OpenRouter and Atlas Cloud. We may add or remove providers and models at any time.

The provider bills you, not us. Each provider charges you directly for each video, at its own price and under its own terms. Klaboo adds no markup and does not sell credits. When you connect a provider you agree to that provider’s terms and acceptable use rules, and you are responsible for everything spent on your account with it. That includes spending you approve in Klaboo, spending from other tools, and anything the provider charges for a video that is blocked, fails, or is not what you wanted.

Estimates and approval. Before each paid generation, Klaboo shows an estimate worked out from the provider’s published prices and your settings, and asks you to approve it. Nothing is sent to a provider for generation until you approve it. The estimate is not a quote or a guarantee. The provider’s final charge can differ, for example because prices change, or because of taxes, fees or the provider’s own billing rules. Your provider’s dashboard shows what you were actually charged.

Drafts. Where a provider offers it (today, Atlas Cloud for Seedance 2.5), you can make a video as a 480p draft and finish it in 1080p later. Finishing is a separate paid generation, with its own estimate and approval. A draft can be finished only while the provider keeps it: 7 days on a paid plan, and on Free only until the draft is erased 24 hours after it was made.

Spending cap. In Settings you can turn on an optional monthly spending cap. It is off until you turn it on. It checks the estimates you have approved in Klaboo, across all your workspaces, against the amount you set. It is a convenience, not a guarantee. It does not count spending made outside Klaboo, and it cannot account for any difference between an estimate and the provider’s final charge.

Your key. We store your key encrypted and never show it again. You can remove it at any time. If you think it has been exposed, cancel it at the provider as well. You are responsible for the key and the provider account.

What the provider receives. When you approve a generation, Klaboo sends your prompt, the settings and the files you chose to the provider you picked, using your key. The provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply to what it receives.

Providers can change or fail. A provider may be slow or down, may refuse or block a request (for example for its content or copyright rules), may change or withdraw a model, may change its prices or terms, and may keep its own copies of what you send and receive. We may switch a provider off in Klaboo at any time. We are not responsible for these things, and they do not entitle you to a refund, but we will work to keep Klaboo usable when they happen.

7. AI scene planning

AI scene planning (in Scene builder) runs on Klaboo’s own account with OpenRouter. You do not need your own key for it. OpenRouter sends your request to an AI model provider, for example Google’s Gemini, and we may change the models we use.

When you run a planning action, we send: your scene description and any replies you give; the descriptions of the Library items, the Project knowledge and the rules that apply to the scene; and the name of your workspace. For files attached to the scene we send only their names, types, sizes and lengths, not the files themselves. We send storyboard pictures only when you ask Klaboo to read a storyboard. Do not include information you are not allowed to share.

Scene planning is limited by plan. Free has none. Basic includes a few tries each month. Advanced includes a monthly allowance with fair use, shared fairly among members: if a month gets very busy, scene planning can pause until your plan renews, while everything else keeps working. We may set, adjust or temporarily restrict these limits at any time, including for accounts whose use is far above typical. Planning is a plan only: it does not make or charge for a video.

The model provider handles your request under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Beta features

Some features of Klaboo are marked “Beta”. At the time of writing these are Scene builder, AI scene planning, the video editor (including joining clips and exporting), and the Advanced features that keep continuity between clips and retake part of a clip. The Advanced plan is also marked Beta. A beta feature is new and still changing. It may change, move behind a different plan, or be removed, and it may have problems, including errors, lost progress or results that are not what you expected. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We welcome your feedback on beta features. If you send it, you let us use it to improve Klaboo without owing you anything for it. We will give notice before the beta ends.

9. Your content

You own what you upload and what you create with Klaboo, to the extent the law and your providers’ terms allow. Providers’ terms may limit how you can use what they generate.

You give us a licence to store, process and display your content to you, and to send it to the services needed to run Klaboo for you, including the providers you choose and our planning service. We use it for nothing else. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload or put in a prompt, including the likenesses and voices of real people, and that using it with AI providers is lawful. Do not upload other people’s personal information unless you have the right to.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use Klaboo to create or share content that is illegal, sexualizes minors, depicts real people without their consent, harasses or deceives others (including misleading deepfakes), or infringes someone else’s rights. Follow the rules of the providers you connect. Do not attack, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the service, share your account, or try to get around the limits of your plan. To report a problem or a misuse, write to support at klaboo.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

11. AI output

AI-generated results can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to other people’s work. Review them before you rely on or publish them.

12. Keeping, deleting and backups

Keeping your work. On a paid plan, your work stays in your account until you delete it or your account ends. We take care of it, but we cannot promise that nothing will ever be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Deleting videos, scenes and Library items. When you delete a video, a scene with its videos, or a Library file or item, it is hidden at once and erased after 7 days. Until then you can restore it. Exports that contain a deleted video are erased with it. Removing an export erases it soon after. Deleting a saved scene plan on its own takes effect at once, the plan cannot be reopened, and its videos stay where they are. On the Free plan, deleting a video erases it at once.

Deleting a workspace or your account. When you delete a workspace, everything in it is permanently removed after a 7-day window in which you can cancel. Once the removal has started it cannot be undone. Deleting your account does the same for every workspace you own. It also stops your subscription from renewing and cancels it when your account is removed. We do not refund the unused part of the period (section 4).

Backups. We keep backup copies of our database so we can recover from a failure. Data you delete can stay in those backups for about 35 days, and then it expires. We do not restore single items from a backup. Your uploaded files and generated videos are not in our database backups, and we do not keep a separate backup of them. If our file storage were lost, those files could be lost. Keep your own copies.

Providers’ copies. Providers you connect keep their own copies of what you send and receive, under their own rules. Deleting something in Klaboo does not delete it there.

13. When your membership ends

If your membership ends, whether you cancel it (it ends when the paid period runs out) or we cannot collect payment, you keep read-only access to your account for 90 days after it ended. During that time you can sign in to view, download or delete your workspaces, Project knowledge, Library, videos and cuts. You can also see and remove your saved provider keys and send feedback. You cannot create, edit, upload, generate, use AI planning, export, or add or change a key.

We email you on the day it ends and about 30, 60, 76, 83 and 89 days later, to tell you how long your work is kept and when your account will be deleted. These are service messages about your account and have no unsubscribe link. If you rejoin during the 90 days, you get full access again and nothing is lost. After 90 days we delete your account and everything in it, and it cannot be recovered. We do not delete it unless the final notice, the one sent on day 89, was accepted by our email provider at least 24 hours earlier. You can also delete your account yourself at any time (section 12).

The same applies if complimentary access that we gave you ends, with one difference: if we offer Free at that time and you have never held a paid membership, your account moves to Free instead. It is not read-only, we do not send the reminders above, and we do not delete it after 90 days. Everything you made while you had complimentary access, such as your Library, scenes, cuts and videos, is kept. On the pages Free does not include, you can view, download or delete it, and you cannot create or change anything there. Videos and files you make on Free after that follow the Free rules in section 5. If we do not offer Free when complimentary access ends, or you have held a paid membership, the rules above apply, as for a membership that ended. If we later stop offering Free, the 90 days above start from the day we stop. Complimentary access is not a paid plan and we may end it.

14. Ending your account

You can delete your account from the account menu, as section 12 describes. Some records are kept as the Privacy Policy describes. After your account is deleted, you can use the same sign-in to start a new, empty account.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Klaboo, with reasonable notice where we can. If we stop offering the paid service altogether, we will refund the unused part of what you prepaid.

15. Service and liability

Klaboo is provided “as is”, may change or be interrupted, and depends on outside services (including our hosting, sign-in, payment, email, planning and video providers) that we do not control. We do not promise that it will be available at any time. Keep your own copies of important work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or, if you have paid nothing, US$50. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, or liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies and, where we can, ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it applies. Using Klaboo after it applies means you accept it.

17. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada, and disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless your local law gives you the right to use your own courts.

18. Other terms

These terms, with the Privacy Policy and the Pricing page, are the whole agreement between you and us about Klaboo. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms to a successor to our business.

19. Contact
