Questions

You asked. Here are the answers.

What your own key means, what videos cost, which provider to start with, and what Klaboo can and can’t promise about your characters.

What does “bring your own key” mean?

You connect your own account with a supported video provider by pasting its API key, a private code, into Klaboo. Your provider bills you directly for the videos you generate, so you pay for what you make and Klaboo adds nothing to it.

Why my own key, instead of credits like other AI video apps?

Credit plans bundle video into a monthly price the app sets, and unused credits usually expire. With your own key you pay your provider's own price, only for what you make, and Klaboo adds nothing. If you make only a few short clips a month, a small credit plan can cost about the same. The more you make, the more paying at cost helps.

How much will my videos cost?

It depends on the model, the length and the resolution. A 10-second video at 720p costs your provider's price for those settings, at the cheapest provider that runs it. Klaboo shows the cost for your exact settings before every generation, and the models page lists every provider's price per second. What a whole scene costs

Which provider should I start with?

Choose the model you want on Models & providers, then pick a provider that supports its settings. OpenRouter offers Seedance; Replicate and fal offer additional models. For Draft mode, use Atlas Cloud. How to get a key

What's Draft mode?

On Atlas Cloud, Seedance 2.5 can make a video as a 480p draft, at its normal 480p price. Try a few drafts, then finish the one you like in 1080p. The finish is a separate generation at Atlas Cloud's 1080p price, and Klaboo shows it before you approve. The app shows the price of a draft, and of its finish, before you approve each one. A draft can be finished for 7 days, or 24 hours on Free.

Will my characters look exactly the same every time?

They should look much more consistent, but no one can promise identical results. Klaboo gives each shot the right references, and the video model still renders the performance. Retakes are there for the moments that miss.

Does Klaboo pick the cheapest provider for me?

Klaboo shows each provider's price for the model and settings you choose, so you can compare them. When you have keys for more than one provider, it starts on the cheapest, and you can change it with one click. Prices change, and some options are offered only by some providers, so the cheapest choice for one shot may not be the cheapest, or possible, for another.

How long can a video be?

One clip is as long as the model allows: up to 15 seconds on some models and up to 30 on Seedance 2.5, Wan 3 and Kling 4.0. For a longer video, join several clips in the Editor and export them as one video. On Advanced, Klaboo can plan a scene of up to 10 minutes (8 on Veo 3.1 Fast, whose clips are 8 seconds at most), split it into clips, and put each clip into the scene’s cut in order as it’s made. Tell a longer story as several scenes.

Which models and providers can I use?

These models: Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 2.0 Mini, Kling 3.0, Kling 3.0 Omni, Veo 3.1 Fast, Wan 3 and Kling 4.0, on these providers: Atlas Cloud, fal.ai, OpenRouter and Replicate. What each one offers differs, so the models page lists the details.
